About

Rubus was founded in Bergen in 2019, inspired by an idea from Guy Montuelle and Yuval Montuelle. Guy (CEO of Rubus) bought a new home and experienced the complex and demanding customer journey in real estate projects. He saw firsthand how many costly mistakes occur in projects due to poor collaboration.

This gave him the idea to bring all project participants together on one platform with all communication and documentation in one place. The Rubus platform is designed so that all project participants - developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and home buyers - can easily perform their tasks and have a full overview.

The first project went live on the platform in 2020, and since then, there has been continuous progress with new features, more projects, and a growing base of satisfied customers.

Our custumers

Ownership and Organization

Rubus (Rubus Tech AS) is owned by the founders Guy and Yuval Montuelle, with Kistefos AS, Borgenhaug AS, and Construct Venture AS (an investment company owned 50/50 by OBOS and AF Gruppen) as the largest investors. We have solid owners and several of the largest developers and contractors in the Nordic region as customers.

We currently have 21 employees with offices in Bergen, Oslo, and Stockholm. All development takes place at our headquarters in Bergen, and over half of our employees work directly on the development of the platform. This ensures that we are always at the forefront with new smart features and can quickly fix any minor issues that may arise.

Support and contact

Support and onboarding for all project participants are important parts of Rubus. We have a dedicated help function for home buyers integrated into the platform and a comprehensive help center available with instructional videos and step-by-step guides for both admins and subcontractors in the projects.
